South Pasadena has recently made changes to streamline the process for obtaining a library card. It is now quicker and easier than before to get your annual library card. The City will continue to subsidize $75 of the $100 cost of a card, but residents are now able to have their card issued the same day that their $25 payment is made. Upon payment of $25 at South Pasadena City Hall, residents may immediately take a voucher to the St. Pete Beach Library to get their library card.
Please note that while residents can only take their voucher to the St. Pete Beach Library, cards may then be used at any library in the Pinellas County Library Cooperative. The City will no longer issue reimbursement checks to residents who pay any library directly.
City Hall is open from 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday and accepts cash or checks only.
